Saltmarsh Studio & Bookshop is founded by twin sisters Sam and Wendy. A shared venture inspired by a love of making, nature and thoughtful living.

Sam brings a varied creative background, from textiles to interior and graphic design, and has taught creative subjects for the past 15 years; Wendy has a background in retail with a real love of books and connecting with people. Together, we will offer craft courses and workshops which will include visible mending, embroidery, natural dye foraging, botanical printing, dressmaking, and patchwork and quilting.

Our studio will place sustainable craft practices at its heart, offering plastic-free craft kits, sustainable, upcycled and repurposed materials, and a curated selection of new and secondhand books on nature and making.
